Unswayed Family, I feel as if it’s been eons since I’ve been here. Between all the New Year craziness and resolutions I was distracted, but I assure you that I am back and ready for action!

This post is not exactly makeup or beauty related, but I would like to share with you something I am super excited about. – LG was kind enough to send me a brand new Sapience Top Loader with Smart Inverter washing machine to review! Which is super exciting, a brand-spanking new washing machine? Yaaas!

I still stay with my parents, and I am not really accustomed to doing my own washing (I am spoiled, right?) but now is the perfect time to practice, and with all the features on this LG washing machine it seems like it’s going to  be a breeze. Also, its fancy and modern looking and shiny, which fits my taste perfectly.

Smart Motion for Optimized Washing by Fabric

With this feature you can programme your wash by fabric type and the washing machine will pick the best motions for the type of fabric whether it be delicates or duvets or towels ensuring that your items get the best treatment. This is perfect as it will assist in the maintenance, quality and overall appearance items.

Energy Saving with Smart Inverter Control

A perfect feature for the world we are living in currently, constantly concerned about finding ways to save energy and water (I hope we are all trying to take care of our environment). Although – what does “Energy Saving with Smart Inverter Control Actually MEAN? – The machine adjusts its power consumption to the amount required, thus avoiding the use of unnecessary and unneeded power.

LG claims 36% energy saving, and many of us have prepaid meters in our homes these days (well I do) so I think it’s pretty great that this machine saves power, will save money and reduce harm of our environment.

TurboDrum™

With a strong water stream, rotation drum and pulsator in different directions, TurboDrum™  provides the most powerful wash, getting rid of all the dirt and grime ( AND foundation and matte lipsticks) stuck in/on fabrics.

Machine has a side waterfall to create a better mix of detergent with water.

LoDecibel™ and Less Vibration

The Smart Inverter minimizes noise and the vibration of the washing machine. This is perfect for me as I can work and record my videos etc., without the worry of the washing machine shaking the ground loose in the background. (I’m sure we know how loud washing machines can get)

Apparently – and I am super afraid to try – you could place a glass of water on the washing machine while it’s doing a cycle (do not try this at home)… seems pretty cool anyway, right!?

This machine is available in 13, 15 and 17kgs, so there is a size to fit everyone’s needs and space. I am also super impressed that it comes with a 10 year motor warranty, which assures me that the company is really confident about their product and that gives me confidence that this is the best product for my household.

I am quite happy with this product, and my foundation stained white T-shirts have all been saved (super grateful!) Thank you to LG for making life so much easier (and cleaner and quieter).

  1. Love that it’s got so many features designed to make the process as easy as possible. We don’t always have the time (or the money) to be environmentally conscious, so it’s great that this has taken the initiative and saves money and power as a standard feature. Also pretty impressed that I can change the settings to suit the material I’m washing, that will truly help in the long run. All in all, sounds like real value for money

  2. I love the look, the fact that it is sensitive to the type of items you washing and that it is and energy saving machine. Water and electricity bills are no joke so fantastic if it saves you, takes care of your washing needs and looks good at the same time. I definately like the win win situation!!
